Single Resource EMT and Medic
Basic requirements are S130/190, current red card, and either NREMT or NREMP as well as CO certs. Experience is required for initial dispatches, but we can work you in to another spot to get you trained before going on an assignment on your own. We can assist you in finding the appropriate classes and guiding your education. Deployments pay starts at $31.25/HR for EMT and $38/HR Paramedic. Work is based on 16 hour days for 14 day assignments which is about $660/Day for EMT and $800/day for Medic. Vehicle, food , all supplies included. Transportation days paid at 50% of daily rate, travel paid from closest airport. Eligible for bonus plan after 21 days. Teams are deployed with equipment to meet current VIPR standard. Medical Module/UTV based teams
. Sometimes called "RATS" team. Medic and EMT deployed in a UTV, NO rope rescue capability. Basic requirements are S130/190, current red card, and either NREMT or NREMP as well as CO certs. Work is based on 16 hour days for 14 day assignments which is about $675/Day for EMT and $800/day for Medic. Vehicle, food , all supplies included. Transportation days paid at 50% of daily rate, travel paid from closest airport. Eligible for bonus plan after 21 days. Alpine REMS is looking to field at least one team which would require 2 emt's and 2 medics to keep it active over a season. A second unit may be added as needed.
